{"id":1362,"date":"2024-07-21T11:53:05","date_gmt":"2024-07-21T09:53:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sij.qc.ca\/programs\/"},"modified":"2024-07-23T15:54:47","modified_gmt":"2024-07-23T13:54:47","slug":"programs","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sij.qc.ca\/en\/programs\/","title":{"rendered":"PROGRAMS"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h1 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-left\"><br\/><strong>TARGET AUDIENCE<\/strong><\/h1>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Entrepreneurs aged 18 to 40<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Innovative technology companies<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Based in Quebec<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"OBJECTIVE\">\u2794 MAIN OBJECTIVE : <\/h2>\n<hr\/>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\">The S.I.J. program is a two-part program designed to provide entrepreneurs with the financial support that they need to <b>launch their startup or acquire a business<\/b>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"2COMPONENTS\">\u2794 THE TWO COMPONENTS OF THE PROGRAM:<\/h2>\n<hr\/>\n\n\n\n<div id=\"div1\">\n<div class=\"rose\">\n\n<div class=\"chiffresrouges\">\n<h2 id=\"COMPONENT1\"><\/h2>  1  <\/div>\n<h4> FOUNDERS <\/h4>\n\n<ul>\n<li>The eligible entrepreneur(s) must hold the majority (more than 50%) of the company&#8217;s ordinary shares, or hold them jointly with the other eligible entrepreneurs, if applicable;<\/li>\n<li>The company has been in operation for less than five years;<\/li>\n<li>The business term loan can range from $50,000 to $200,000;<\/li>\n<li>We request the presence of a mentor or advisory committee;<\/li>\n<li>Prepare a comprehensive Business Plan or PowerPoint presentation and assess the company&#8217;s financial needs;<\/li>\n<li>Submit the required documents, according to the program component that applies.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div id=\"div1\">\n<div class=\"rose\">\n\n<div class=\"chiffresrouges\">\n<h2 id=\"COMPONENT2\"><\/h2>  2  <\/div>\n<h4> ACQUIRERS <\/h4>\n\n<ul>\n<li>The eligible entrepreneur must hold the majority (more than 50%) of the company&#8217;s ordinary shares, or hold them jointly with the other eligible entrepreneurs, if applicable; <\/li>\n<li>The company must have been in operation for more than two years and demonstrate that it has successfully completed its start-up phase; <\/li>\n<li>The entrepreneur must submit his request for financial support to the S.I.J. before the transaction closes; <\/li>\n<li>Entrepreneurs are not eligible if they are already shareholders in the company in question;<\/li><li>The business term loan can range from $50,000 to $200,000;<\/li>\n<li>We request the presence of a mentor or advisory committee;<\/li>\n<li>The S.I.J. limits its financial contribution to 45% of overall financial needs.
